What are the kind of practices?
Public come to visit the building, as it is a living museum with so amny referneces to Germany's past. People come to give themselves a sense that they are viewing political deliberation. They get a sense that they can keep an eye on the people they have voted for and feel they have a much greater sense of involvement and connection than one would have watching the political deliberation from a televsion set.
However there is a strong relationship between the public and the politicians, the building is primarily to allow politicians to debate, and the public viewing is secondary to this primary function. The other spaces within the building beside the public areas and the parlimentary chamber are for government offices. Even though this building is primary for govenrmental use, large areas are designated for public use, showing that the public are valued for in this government.
